Friends Only Posty Thing

I just realized I should have a friending post. My journal is friends only, but I don't mind adding people back. However, I get names mixed up between twitter and livejournal and I like to know who people are. So! In that spirit, when you friend me, say howdy here and I'll know who you are better to friend you back.

A friend recently pointed out to me that, of course, 'parapluie' is a rain (pluie) umbrella - and 'parasol' is a sun umbrella. Obvious, yes, I know, but it had never occurred to me and I was delighted to add it to things I enjoy knowing, so I thought I'd pass it on...

It's kinda interesting cuz I have a writing journal with the name "parasol" (only I spell it parasoules cuz parasol is taken~)
